  • As I mentioned in my previous posts, Digg is beloved by Google. Every time I submit a post to Digg, it got indexed by Google in a very short period of time(as short as minutes). This prompts me to put up this video on Digg, as my social network video series 3.

Enjoy the video. Here is the link.

  • There are now websites similar to YouTube that allow for video creators to upload their video blog entries and earn money each time they are viewed.  Not only will this help your own vlog receive traffic, it will also help you earn money.  Video bloggers have earned thousands of dollars by utilizing this method.  Some sites that will pay you for sharing your vlog posts are:

    •    MetaCafe.com
    •    Break.com
    •    Revver.com
    •    Flixya.com

Using these sites will help you earn money while extending your reach and getting traffic to your website.  Plus these sites are all super easy to use.  Once you have produced your videos for your blog upload the content to these sites.  As long as your content is original and entertaining you will be able to earn money each time somebody views it.  The sites are set up to allow visitors to embed your video onto their blogs or other sites which increase your views and income.

  • Audio and Video can be very useful in promoting your blog, and you don’t have to shoot your own video or record your own audio. You can do that, of course, if you want to and if you have the equipment and the know-how but you really don’t have to.

Google has videos that you can use. The link is right there on the Google search page. Recently Google purchased YouTube for a reported one point six billion dollars. You can find free videos there on almost any topic that you can imagine and likely a few topics that you would never imagine.

All you have to do is grab the videos, upload them to your YouTube account, use the tool provided by YouTube to change the background music and tag them. Then you just copy and paste the link to the video on your blog. That is pretty much it.

You can find videos on topics that are related to the topic of your website or your blog that will be of interest to your visitors and when visitors are watching videos they aren’t surfing away from your site.

  • The shocking kick on the head of a taekwondo referee by a Cuban taekwondo athlete was the hot topic for the last a couple of days. Even overshadowed the closing ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympics. I feel sorry for both the player and the referee, as the player got a life-time ban by not able to contain his anger, and the referee got hurt by doing his job.  Maybe it is time to think of a job change or simply make money online. You may see this is my first project (kind of a beta) of using YouTube to boost my traffic. I’ll keep you posted as how it works out.
